Shit I got going on:

Flammable Comics. That's right, motherfuckers. I'm putting out a comic book. A real, tangible, made-out-of-ink-and-paper-and-staples comic book. It's gonna be fresh. There's gonna be funny comics and the occasional funny anecdote and/or bit of prose. But what does that mean for you, the people reading my LiveJournal?

I have a job for you guys. Well, two jobs, actually. Job one: buy the freaking comic. I'll let you know when it's out and available for purchase. Job two: send me your funny stuff. Comics? Sure. Art? Why not. Funny little bits of text, carefully engineered to make people laugh? Fuck yes. I want it all, and I want it now.

Here's the little legal bits: you'll retain all copyright; I'll retain the right to publish the stuff you send me in the comic, and then in one "collection" style publication. I don't pay money for submissions; I will, however, send you some comics that you can sell on your own (and keep all the profits).

Doesn't that sound freaking fantastic? Of course it does. SEND ME YOUR FUNNY! I WILL PRINT YOUR FUNNY IN A COMIC BOOK THAT ALSO CONTAINS OTHER PEOPLE'S FUNNY.
I'm also writing a multiplayer game in Perl, using IO::Socket only (no fancy high-level libraries for handling network code). It's kind of a pain in the ass so far, but I'm learning a lot.

Well, damn, I thought the list would be a little longer than two things. Yargh.

Also, the wife and I went to go visit benchilada and his awesome wife Sarah! No to imply that benchilada isn't awesome, because he totally is. So are burritos, as are those weird Japanese sodas that taste like raspberries and carbonated battery acid, but that is completely beside the point. My own wife is also pretty awesome. Also, I like nachos. Anyway, a good time was had by all, and we would really like to visit again, perhaps for a bit longer than a late evening and an early morning.
